B2 Squid
These are one of my old school favorites for saltwater fishing! Use the 2.5″ and 4″ to catch Salmon on the troll, with a tandem hook leader behind a flasher. If you are targeting Rockfish or Lingcod, you can rig them on a double-hooked chicken rig, or throw one on a jighead and vertical jig. The 8″ B2 is one of my favorites when I’m drifting for Halibut with a little bait on the hook, rigged on a spreader bar or halibut weight slider.
B2 Salmon Trolling Rigs
Our B2 Squid salmon trolling rigs are perfect to troll with a flasher. They are tied with 46″ of 40 pound test fluorocarbon leader and tandem Lazer Sharp 4/0 hooks.
B2 Halibut Rigs
Our B2 Squid Halibut rigs are tied with 150 pound test leader material, tandem 10/0 Gakakatsu octopus hooks and include a triple-crimped loop to easily attached to the snap at the end of a spreader bar or weight slider. Leader length is 24″ which in our experience is the perfect length to avoid tangles when fishing deep for Halibut.
