Well, we have been waiting on the sidelines for quite a while now… waiting for the perfect low tides and favorable and healthy levels of marine biotoxins to match up! WDFW has announced a two day opener for Razor Clam harvest on the Washington Coast! It has been so long my taste buds have all but forgotten the ecstasy caused by perfectly breaded and fried local Washington Coast razor clams!
We will get a chance to dig Razor Clams on the Pacific Beach zone of Mocrocks, which is located from the Grays Harbor County hamlet of Moclips, southwards to roughly the mouth of the Copalis River.
- Saturday, May 15; 9:37 am; -0.5 feet; Mocrocks
- Monday, May 17; 11:03 am; -0.1 feet; Mocrocks
The low tide openers are in the morning, and no digging will be allowed after noon. Please check out WDFW Approves Saturday and Monday Razor Clam Digs at Mocrocks Only for all the regulations and details… happy digging everyone!
